On Oct 19th, Slope Finance was glad to invite Goose FX Co-Founder Wayne to share with us more about GooseFX, Here is the AMA recap:
Q1: Could you please introduce yourself and GooseFX to our community?
A: Yes, I’m one of the core contributors at GooseFX!
GooseFX is a full suite DeFi platform built on Solana offering a variety of financial products to provide the best user experience in Web3. We offer synthetics and crypto trading, an NFT marketplace, as well as single-sided liquidity pools. Our vision is to cross collateralize the platform so you can trade any assets all at the convenience of one user-friendly platform.
Q2: What kind of NFT marketplace will you integrate into the GooseFX ecosystem -Will it support multiple platforms’ NFTs such as Opensea, Rarible, etc..?
A: This is definitely something we are considering by integrating Wormhole to port users from Ethereum to Solana. We believe in an interoperable future.
Q3: You have planned to enhance GooseFx by introducing markets for tokenized stocks, Defi derivatives, and NFTs. Why did you choose these three particular fields?
A: The GooseFX platform will offer a full suite of Defi applications to its users. The goal is to simplify the user experience by allowing users to trade, stake, and interact with NFTs all on one platform. We targeted these three sectors as they have a large number of uses that would benefit from these features. Tokenized stocks are increasing in popularity as a concept and Defi derivatives offer multiple use cases including hedging strategies that can lower risk for users. We welcome the feedback of the community and will make enhancements based on user demand.
Q4: I read that they have completed great technical work on their platform, as well as the launch of the Alpha, but are their contracts really fully audited?
A2: The GooseFX platform highly values security and ensures a great user experience for all users. The team has decided to enlist Holborn as our primary audit partner in order to prevent malicious actors and hackers from exploiting vulnerabilities in the smart contract design. Holborn has a strong track record of assisting projects to navigate this landscape and we are happy to have such a great partner in the space. In fact, they liked our code so much they decided to become investors! Regarding the security of the platform: we will open a bug bounty program and features after beta will become open source so users can peer review and point out any potential flaws.
Q5: How can people new to crypto use your platform? Is your project suitable for beginner and advanced traders?
A: We are building the platform to be extremely user-friendly. It will be easy to trade for beginners as well as more advanced order types for experienced traders. We will also be publishing instructional content in order for beginners to understand all the features. New people can test our alpha platform for tokenized stocks this month by signing up on our discord!
Q6: Why did GooseFX choose to build on Solana and not Polygon, Ethereum, BSC, etc.?
A: We chose to build on Solana because of the high transactional throughput of over 50,000+ tps, fast block times (400ms), and the high level of development compared to other blockchain solutions!
Q7: One of your core features is tokenized stocks; could you explain how this will work?
A: Tokenized stocks will work as synthetic representations of the underlying stocks and will only track the price movement. Users will be able to deposit our utility token GOFX in order to mint gUSD or any gToken of their choice that is available in the pool. Users can trade these different synthetic tokens and can burn their debt in order to withdraw their collateral.

1. Does your team consider community feedback or requests during product creation to expand on new ideas for its projects? Many projects fail because they do not understand the target audience and customers. So I want to know who is the ideal consumer for products?
A: Absolutely, this is what we believe in. We would love to have our users submit feedback so we can improve the platform. We want to be #1 in user experience so this is important to us
2. What’s your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products?
A. Our main focus is getting the stock's alpha ready. NFT will be next month and then working on Single-Sided Yield Farming + Spot crypto trading
3. Since NFT is popular nowadays, is there a plan for NFT integration?
A: Yes one of our core features will be an NFT marketplace and we will be releasing information soon. Please join our discord and follow us on Twitter to stay up to date with release info!
4. Where can I buy your tokens now, what are your current contracts addressed and how can I buy them and what are the benefits?

5. Many new projects make a good impression at first but are suddenly abandoned. My question is, how will you manage the project and the token to get a position in the market and become the best token in the crypto world?
A: Good question. We have long lockups, our team tokens don’t fully unlock until 4 total years (which is a lifetime in crypto haha). But we are all fully committed and we’ve been in the crypto space for 7+ years so we plan to build for the next 5–10 years
6. How could we know that your team is professional and your project is legit? Have you done any important partnerships and achievements made till now?
A: I have built a quaint desk that does 8–9 figures in trading volume. I know most of the people in the crypto ecosystem such as SBF, CZ, Paolo/Bitfienx, Pomp, etc. some of the biggest funds/traders in the system. Our lead investors were Jump Trading, Coinshares, SVC, Animoca, Kucoin, GSR, etc.
7. What’s your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products?
We are heavily focused on the development and ensuring that we are able to deliver all of our core features according to our scheduled road map releases. We also are working with other teams in order to spread awareness for the entire ecosystem!
8. About your yield farming, do you have different staking packages? Will the reward gotten from your pools/farms be fixed or will it differ? How can I get GOFX token now and what can I use it for? @usgoose
A: Users that join the Goosefx community and own the gofx token will be able to utilize the unique benefits that the platform offers for token holders, such as platform governance, staking, helping, and collateralizing for our other trading products.
